Lee Kyu Chul, a managing partner at DR & AJU, our Seoul-based ASEAN Plus Group member, has notably established a “North Korea Economic Development Planning Team” to facilitate reproducing the South’s successful economic growth by way of revising North Korea’s legal system. Former vice-chairman of the Federation of Korean Industries Lee Seung-Chul is an adviser to the team.
The team’s main goals are to help North Korea to foster global cooperation, promote market principles, and establish the South’s first law office in Pyongyang.
