Webinar: Blockchain Applications in Financial Services

Event Highlights

RHTLaw Asia is proud to bring you the second instalment in the series of blockchain themed webinars, which are industry focused and tailored to address the various issues surrounding this new technology.

Join us in this fireside chat as we discuss the applications of blockchain / distributed ledger technology (DLT) in the financial services sector.  The potential benefits of DLT are well publicised – as a form of distributed ledger technology, blockchain has the potential to reduce systemic risks by removing single points of failure, to improve operational and cost efficiencies by removing intermediaries and enabling peer-to-peer transactions, and to provide a secure tamper-resistant record of transactions for ease of supervisory and regulatory oversight.

Reserve your seat to be part of a lively discussion where we will tackle interesting topics like:

Use of blockchain in payment services, clearing and settlement, and IoT applicationsUse of blockchain in combating illicit activities
The rise of digital asset exchanges facilitating new ways of raising capitalCybersecurity, monitoring and surveillance
