Nandhu is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Her areas of practice primarily focus on cases involving complex and multi-faceted factual and legal issues.
Nandhu helps clients involved in disputes relating to financing contracts, sale of goods, cross-border investment, employment, medical negligence, trust, energy, shareholder and partnership disputes, disputes relating to education institutions, sale and purchase contracts for shares, real estate, aircraft and vessels, and defamation.
She has also acted for clients in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. Apart from handling cases in the State Courts, High Court, Singapore International Commercial Court and the Court of Appeal, Nandhu also handles and advises on international commercial arbitrations as counsel for both local and foreign corporations.
Nandhu, in her first year of practice, successfully acted for clients in their sale of two Panamax, coal-carrying vessels, which were registered in Panama and represented the clients in the closing meetings and completing the post-sale obligations.
Nandhu advises clients on a wide range of commercial matters and assists clients with the drafting and review of shareholder agreements, sale and purchase agreements for shares, real estate and vessels, tenancy agreements, consultancy and collaboration agreements.
Nandhu particularly enjoys mentoring young lawyers and law students. She also volunteers her time with various grassroots organisations.
