Amanda is a Partner with RHTLaw Asia’s Corporate & Capital Markets Practice and heads the International China Practice. Her main areas of expertise are initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions (M&As), joint ventures and foreign direct investments. She specialises in laws of the People’s Republic of China with qualifications in Singapore law as a registered foreign lawyer.
Amanda has a prolific career of over 20 years of working experiencepracticing in both the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Singapore and has extensive industry knowledge and experience across many different industries such as energy and environment, healthcare, education, and precision engineering etc. More recently, Amanda has strengthened her expertise into new areas of work in financial services, fintech, and private wealth.
Amanda has had the privilege of being a speaker and moderator of panel discussions at seminars and conferences on topics relating to China employment law reforms, regulatory updates on FDI in China, and internal controls and risk management among others. She has participated in various PRC Investment Seminars organised by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry in conjunction with various Chinese authorities.
She has also been invited to speak at various seminars on blockchain and digital tokens in the PRC, and moderated a panel discussion on PRC healthcare strategy investment. She was also invited by the organiser of Future China Global Forum to moderate a panel discussion on the sustainability of Belt and Road projects.
Prior to 2017, she was also an appointed Registered Professional with RHT Capital Pte. Ltd., an approved continuing sponsor on Catalist, the sponsor-supervised board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
