Official Launch of RHT Rajan Menon Foundation’s Eldercare Guidebook by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong

RHT Rajan Menon Foundation (“Foundation”) is proud to announce the official launch of its eldercare guidebook, “As You Are, Now” by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Teck Ghee National Day Celebration 2018 held in Ang Mo Kio on Saturday, 11 August 2018. The Foundation’s Chairman Tan Chong Huat was onstage to present the guidebook to the Prime Minister at the event. Also joining them onstage was Bernard Tay, a Director of the Foundation and Chairman of the Singapore Road Safety Council.

The guidebook, written by a team of dedicated professionals and published especially for the elderly and their caregivers in four national languages, is an initiative under the Successful Ageing Project spearheaded by the Foundation. Through the publication of the guidebook, the Foundation seeks to educate the elderly on issues they ought to be aware of as they enter their golden years. Topics such as personal welfare management, family law issues, financial wealth management, basic first aid, dementia, home safety and road safety issues have been carefully chosen and written to address the challenges that ageing can, and will, bring.
