More than 120 participants from throughout Singapore are expected to attend, including Guest of Honour, Mr. Han Fook Kwang, Chairman of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.
The golf outing is one of many charitable endeavours undertaken by the RHT Rajan Menon Foundation this year in conjunction with the SG50 celebrations, as the foundation – named after RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP founding partner Mr. Rajan Menon – is actively involved in initiatives to address environmental, educational and socioeconomic issues in Singapore.
Mr. Rajan Menon, Senior Partner of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP, said, “The RHT Rajan Menon Foundation is committed to supporting environmental conservation, supporting the educational pursuits of underprivileged children, and providing assistance to disadvantaged groups throughout Singapore. We are proud to showcase our commitment to Singapore by launching our first Charity Golf Tournament to support the World Wide Fund for Nature Singapore and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. Both of these organisations play a vital role in educational and environmental programmes for the people of Singapore, and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
Guest of Honour, Mr. Han Fook Kwang, Chairman of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, said, “We are extremely grateful to the RHT Rajan Menon Foundation, RHT Holdings and the RHT Group of Companies for their support of our organisation. Events such as this help The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund support approximately 14,000 children and youth from low-income families, and help raise awareness amongst business leaders in Singapore that much can still be done to help local communities.
