Appointment of Associates Nicholas Leong, Elycia Lu & Garbo Li

Warm welcome to Nicholas Leong, Elycia Lu, and Garbo Li who join the Firm as Associates in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.

Nicholas is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore as well as a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn. The matters he has worked on include proceedings before professional regulation and discipline tribunals, costs disputes, contested probate and administration, and insolvency work. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys reading about history and political science, as well as playing the guitar and the bass.

Elycia focuses on contractual disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, shareholders’ disputes, and disputes involving fiduciary duties. She has also acted for clients in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. In her spare time, Elycia enjoys being active, eating good food, and trying out new hobbies.

Jiabao (Garbo) is a China-born legal professional who has an LLB degree and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She is professionally fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, and has an excellent understanding of the unspoken Chinese culture in the business and commercial reality. This provides an edge in her practice in the area of cross-border commercial dispute resolution. Garbo is also a proud SIMI and SMC accredited mediator. She devotes her free time to pro bono work.
